Sriracha My Heart


If you know me, you knew this post was eventually going to happen.

I am a lover of all things sriracha. I will eat sriracha on just about everything. Soup, meat, salad, eggs, pasta, the list goes on and on. If I don't have sriracha on something I would usually put it on, I feel like I am missing out on something.


I have tried numerous srirachas. My favorite, by far is Huy Fong Foods. It doesn't have an overbearing vinegar flavor like some do. It has a pleasant heat and nice spicy taste.


I am a baker at heart. This means it is my passion to find alternative ways to use sriracha, like desserts. I've made sriracha chocolates, which were good, but needed more sriracha. This past summer, I made this sriracha peach crisp that was freaking amazing. I can't wait until summer comes around again, so I can make this one more time. No, it's not weight watchers per se, but I'll make it work!

With Christmas coming up, this year I think I might request some sriracha swag.

Even if you can't get the book, there are hundreds of recipes and recipe collections on line. Take a look at this one. I've wanted to do a sriracha ice cream, so I might have to try this Chocolate Sriracha Ice Cream.

There are lots of sriracha flavored items out on the market now. I love it!
