Sneaky, Sneaky

I'll bet you thought I would never look for you. I think you thought it would go on forever, my denying your existence. You just carried on like it was no big deal.

Well, think again. I'm on to you. And it ends. Now.

For 3 weeks now, the scale has stayed the same. I've been pretty faithful on my plan (or so I thought). I took some time to really look over where I might be able to do better and get the scale dropping again. My sister mentioned, when she had the same problem (some time back, but I chose to ignore it), that she started tracking her creamer and things started moving again.

Almost as deep as my affection for sriracha is my affinity for coffee. Generally, I don't need sugar in my coffee although creamer is a must have. My favorite is the Coffeemate Peppermint Mocha, when it's available. I've also recently gotten on the "pumpkin spice" train this year. The rest of the year it's plain old vanilla.

On a side note, I used to enjoy the hazelnut until my husband took a trip to Italy and brought back a variety of hazelnut chocolates. While the binge was fun at the time, I OD'd a bit on hazelnut and tend to only consume small amounts now.

So, today I sat down and started calculating the amount of points that I was consuming, but not tracking, in my coffee. 4 points (at least. Don't judge me!) per day!!!

The moral of the story? If you're not losing like you think you should, look for those hidden point eaters. You might be surprised what you find. Once you know, you can drop it or account for it.

Will I give up my precious coffee?? Heck, no!! These points are now in my tracker. I am determined to get things going! Wish me luck!
